Anvisa has updated the The Reference Medicines List. The list is divided into groups that organize medicines based on their composition. Check the description of each group:

  • Group A: Refers to medicines containing a single active pharmaceutical ingredient.
  • Group B: Includes medicines with two or more active pharmaceutical ingredients, but in a single pharmaceutical form.
  • Group C: Includes medicines with two or more active pharmaceutical ingredients, in the same or different pharmaceutical forms, for concomitant or sequential use.
