Anvisa simplifies registration and entry of Mpox vaccines
Anvisa has reissued a rule to simplify the process of registering and importing drugs and vaccines against Mpox. As a result, the Ministry of Health can request a waiver of registration for products that have already been approved by international regulatory authorities. The resolution, which is exceptional and temporary, aims to speed up the population’s access to these products in response to the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC).
