Sindusfarma calls for new regulatory framework for drug labeling

Sindusfarma, the Union of the Pharmaceutical Products Industry in the State of São Paulo, has requested that RDC 768/22 be amended to exempt the primary packaging of medicines destined for government and healthcare establishments from the mandatory insertion of the phrase “Forbidden for sale”. Sindusfarma also requested that the phrase “Sale on prescription” be changed to “Use on prescription” on the primary packaging of medicines destined for government or healthcare establishments.
